Celebrate! Ren Takada Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Solo Debut! Ren Takada’s latest work “Concert for Modern Times” is completed! Ren Takada celebrated the 20th anniversary of his solo debut in June this year. This fall, he will release his new album “Concert for Modern Times,” three years after his last album “Fresh. This work was recorded live by an 8-piece band in the auditorium of the Jiyu Gakuen Asutomu-kan, a National Important Cultural Property, designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, a leading modernist architect of the 20th century. The album contains 10 songs in total, including 5 new songs written by the band as if guided by the magic of the place, as well as self-covers of previously released songs.
