Born in the Soviet Union about 18 hours from Moscow, a young Anna was enthralled with horses. Representing strength, movement, and something deeply poetic, those qualities and the feelings imbued accompanied her through the music conservatory in St Petersburg and to Italy a decade ago where she met Sheila Jordan, who encouraged her to make the move to New York. Following her debut album for the Japanese Venus label with her Italian group, Anna made her move in 2017, establishing herself with a New York produced 3rd album for Venus with top musicians from the scene.
