Description:

A bouquet of piano pieces brimming with Polish charm, composed by a legendary pianist. The legendary Polish pianist Ignacy Friedman (18821948) also left behind a large body of piano works as a composer. These pieces are highly pianistic yet not as complex as those of Godowsky; they form a charming treasure trove focused more on expressing poetry and atmosphere than on displaying technical virtuosity. Since many of these works carry a distinct Polish character, a performance by a fellow Pole was eagerly anticipated. Anna Parkita, known for her advanced technique and stylish interpretations, has taken on the challenge of performing these lesser-known works from her homeland. Her renditions of *Slavic Scenes* and *Polish Epic* create a truly unique and ideal sonic world.Tokyo M Plus
