Trio Enescus Nostalgic Enescu & FaurTrio Enescu is a young ensemble formed in 2011 to commemorate the 130th anniversary of the birth of George Enescu (18811955). The prolific Enescu also left behind masterpieces in the trio genre; while strongly influenced by his compositional mentor Faur, his works are characterized by nostalgic melodies that evoke his native Romania.
