Yo-Yo Ma’s “Bach Project” in a sacred place at the foot of the Acropolis, performing the complete unaccompanied cello suites in one night! The best cellist of our time, Yo-Yo Ma, performed the “Bach Unaccompanied Cello Suites” live at the Open Air Music Hall in Athens, Greece, in June 2019. In 2017, he released his third recording. He is currently developing the “Bach Project,” which will take him to 36 concerts around the world, beginning with a performance in Denver in August 2018. The performances are held at selected iconic locations around the world, including a performance in front of a bridge on the border with Mexico in Texas, USA, and the only performance in Japan was in Okinawa.
