Five years after the release of “Kanata,” a collaboration with haruka nakamura, baobab has released its first album in eight years, “Kaze Tsuchi Uta,” a long-awaited full-length album with an indigenous theme released on the occasion of baobab’s 20th anniversary.The album was produced in response to the great response to the “Kaze Tsuchi Uta Tour” in 2023, and features a number of nostalgic and new melodies in the form of a band set sound.The album was recorded dynamically and delicately in one shot at an abandoned school gymnasium in Yamaka-cho, Oita Prefecture, baobab’s home base, with the band members who created the sound after their live tour with the band in 2023.
