Austrias Notable Male Vocal Ensemble”Beauty Farm” Vol. 5 Features La Rue!”Beauty Farm” is a vocal ensemble of six male singers founded in 2014. It began with members who had previously performed in leading choirs and ensembles such as Collegium Vocale Gent, Cinquecento, Grand Lavois, Capilla Flamenca, the Welgas Ensemble, among others. Based at the Carthusian Monastery in Mauerbach, Austria, the ensemble focuses primarily on performing Franco-Flemish polyphony from the Renaissance period. Beauty Farms fifth album, which has garnered attention for both its highly polished polyphony and its striking cover design, features four Masses by Pierre de La Rue (c. 14521518), one of the leading composers of the Flemish School.
