• After Acoustic Sounds released a vinyl reissue of Bill Evans “Trio 64” in August 2021, jazz lovers can also look forward to the reissue of “Trio 65” in 2022.
  Verve’s Acoustic Sounds series presents regular reissues of the world’s finest and historically important jazz records. Mastered by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound from the original analog tapes, they appear on 180-gram LPs.
  Along with Miles Davis and John Coltrane, Evans is one of the towering figures of modern jazz. The pianist inspired an entire generation of pianists to follow him. Throughout his career, he played continuously in the classic jazz trio setting. From 1956 until his death in 1980, some 20 different musicians were thus at his side in changing ensembles.
