The first new release in five years from Bill Wells’ Japan-only “Dream” series, each title of which has been a long seller, consists of four movements, including spring, the final chapter of “Four Seasons. Since the early 2000s, he has performed with his eponymous trio/octet/big band, The National Jazz Trio of Scotland featuring multiple vocalists, and other leaders such as Maher Shalal Hash Baz, Yo La Tengo, Teenage Fanclub, Tenniscoats, The Pastels, Judd Fair, Diafouf, Aidan Moffat (Arabic Strap), Isabelle Moffat, and Isabelle Moffat.
