This is the third album, which gained momentum for reevaluation after modern heavy bands in the 1990s professed their influence. The dark groove of Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler reached its peak with this album. To put it bluntly, this album is the best fusion of the atmosphere-oriented darkness of the first album and the song quality of the second album. The album contains many great songs, including “Sweet Leaf,” which begins with Ozzy Osbourne’s famous “cough. The influence on the aforementioned 90’s heavy rock bands and the doom/stoner bands that followed is enormous. (C) Ryuji Awano
