Blackwater Holylight’s fourth full-length album is complete. Continuing from their previous work, this album also explores the duality of light and darkness. Overwhelming riffs form the foundation for captivating melodies, dense shoegaze guitar contrasts with floating synths, and heavy themes resonate with siren-like vocals. One major change is the inclusion of the instrumental track “Giraffe,” where a stumbling keyboard and pulsing bass blend hallucinatorily over a beat by David Andrew Sitek (TV on the Radio, Run the Jewels, Solange).
