Blackwater Holylight

Description:

Blackwater Holylight’s fourth full-length album is now complete. Continuing from the previous album, this one explores the duality of light and dark. Intimidating riffs provide the foundation for captivating melodies, dense shoegaze guitar is contrasted with floating synths, and heavy themes are accompanied by siren-like vocals. One of the major changes includes the instrumental “Giraffe,” a hallucinatory mix of wobbly keyboards and pulsating bass over a beat by David Andrew Sitek (TV on the Radio, Run the Jewels, Solange).
