The Complete Chopin Piano Sonatas with the Hot Touch of Bonnoukas French veteran pianist Veronique Bonnoukas has recorded three of Chopin’s sonatas. Bonnoukas studied at CNSM in the class of Wentzislaw Yankov, and later at the Juilliard School, where he won prizes in various competitions. Jankov was also a highly acclaimed interpreter of Chopin, and shared the first prize at the 1949 Ron Thibaud International Competition with Ciccolini. Bonnekas studied under Yankov and now has a strong presence as a veteran. He has an excellent sense of balance, and his tone is full of passion and harmony, while his controlled music-making makes the audience enjoy the performance. King International
