BootsforDancing, a Scottish post-punk band that was active for just three years starting in 1979 (and temporarily reunited in 2015). Their unique style stood out in the sceneso much so that John Peel called them one of the few bands that can make me danceand frontman Dave Carsons costumes and performances went on to influence the likes of David Byrne and Martin Fry (ABC). However, the band broke up before achieving success, and the recordings they left behind were buried in history. This album is a collection of unreleased takes from 1980 to 1982 unearthed by Euan Flyer, the owner of AthensoftheNorth and a longtime fan of the band; its content is on par with what could easily be considered the bands second album.
