The Montreal-based art-pop trio, whose 2023 debut album generated a lot of buzz, is back with a new release. The album was produced by Robbie Kuster of Patrick Watson, with Warren Spicer of Plants and Animals serving as engineer. Furthermore, this album features new collaborators such as Inuk singer-songwriter Elisapie, Bibi Clubs Adele Trottier-Rivard and Morgan Moore, and Karkwa keyboardist Franois Lafontaine, cementing the trios status as a major force in the Canadian indie scene. A multifaceted sound that blends Serge Gainsbourgs orchestral funk, Elliott Smiths raw melodies, Talking Heads world-music-inspired rhythms, and Dijons textured R&Ball wrapped in a 1970s cinematic sensibility.
