Description:

This is a collection of chamber works with wind instruments by Saint-Sans, the most important French composer of the neoclassical period. The three masterpieces for winds (bassoon, clarinet, and oboe) that Saint-Sans wrote in the last years of his long life are performed by virtuoso players who carry on the tradition of French wind instrumental performance. The works are also well supported by Annie Darko, a famous female pianist who studied under Marguerite Long, who enhances the excellence of each work. Tokyo M-Plus
