Zuckerman & Giulini / Mendelssohn: Violin ConcertoA sweet tone that seems to draw you in effortlessly. Zuckerman, a fellow student of Perlmans, was trained by Garamian at Juilliard. Mendelssohns Violin Concerto was the piece with which he achieved spectacular success in 1969at the very beginning of his careerin a performance with Bernstein and the New York Philharmonic. He also recorded a studio version with the same ensemble that same year.
