Eschenbach Completes the Roussel Series!Roussel performed by Eschenbach and the Orchestre de Paris. Following the earlier releases of Symphonies No. 1 and No. 4 (ODE1092), Symphony No. 2 and the Bacchus and Ariadne Suite (ODE1065)were highly praised by the European and American media for the French orchestras superb sound and performance, as well as the recordings sound quality. The series concludes with two of Roussels most popular orchestral works: Symphony No. 3premiered by the Boston Symphony Orchestra and hailed as a true masterpieceand the ballet *Le Festin dAraigne*, with its energetic, original, and richly melodic score.
