Hana Omoi is read as Hana-umi in the Okinawan dialect.No matter how devastated one may feel by sad news or painful events, there is always a part of us that hopes flowers will bloom somewherewe simply cannot help but wish for them to bloom. This album title embodies that sentiment.The album features the ancient Ryukyuan folk song Ufudana-bushi, passed down on Iheya Island in Okinawa Prefecturewhere Cocco has her rootsas well as the timeless Okinawan classics Hana and Omoi, as well as Kanp nu Kue-Zansa, which Cocco performed to great acclaim during her long-awaited return to the stage at the No One Knows Variety Show hosted by Okinawa Prefecture in December 2025. This 14th album by Cocco features a total of nine tracks, including these songs and new original compositions.
