Combining various tablature scores from around 1600 to create a new suite!Swiss-born harpsichord and recorder player Corina Marti, who also teaches at the Basel Schola Cantorum (SCB/Schola Cantorum Basiliensis), has released an ambitious album. The album is based on various tablatures, both secular and religious, that are said to have originated in Gdansk, Oliva, Branjevo, and other Polish cities near the Baltic Sea during the 16th and 17th centuries, and combined with some tablatures preserved in Poland, Germany, and Austria.
