The rousing sound of his electrified Stratocaster, the foot-stomping backbeat and the passionate lyrics make the old genre come alive again.

  Harding’s soul style between “Super Fly”, fat 70s soul rock and a good portion of nonchalance developed in the US state of Michigan, on the road with his gospel-singing mother and in Atlanta, where he was a backup singer for Cee-Lo Green and became friends with the Black Lips (together with Cole Alexander he plays in the garage soul band Night Sun).
