Born in Thessaloniki, Greece, in 1989, Tsenikoglou began playing the piano at the age of 8a bit late, perhapsbut within three years, he was already performing Bachs Piano Concerto in D minor and the Goldberg Variations in official settings, quickly demonstrating his talent. His teacher, Janis Adamidis, sent him to study at the Munich School of Music and Performing Arts when he turned 15, where he studied under Franz Massinger and received his diploma in June 2012. He is currently pursuing a masters degree at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where he studies under Murray Perahia. Having released several CDs since the age of 18 and receiving numerous concert offers, he is undoubtedly a prodigy who will continue to attract increasing attention. This album features Chopins Preludes and Debussys Imagesworks of extraordinary sensitivity and delicacyoffering a glimpse into his artistic talents.Naxos J
