It is said that Nadia Boulanger, renowned as a noble world educator of the Boulanger sisters with male voices, gave up composing before the genius of her younger sister Lily. This fine project contains 17 of Nadia’s songs. However, “Bright Time,” a collection of eight songs, was co-written with the famous pianist Raul Pugno. Lilly’s “Four Songs” is also included as a coupling, but Nadia’s work is no less accomplished or appealing. French tenor Cyril Dubois studied at the Paris Conservatory with Nathalie Dessay and others, and is active exclusively in the opera world. He has been developing the songs of the Boulanger sisters for the past 10 years and has created a convincing world. King International
