Dusty worked on the album with an outstanding team of musicians and producers, including Jerry Wexler, Arif Mardin, Tom Dowd, conductor Gene Orloff, background vocalist The Sweet Inspirations, bassist Tommy Cogbill and guitarist Reggie Young.
  “Dusty In Memphis” has been praised by critics over the years and is considered Dusty’s best album, which won a place in the Grammy Hall Of Fame in 2001 and was ranked 89th by Rolling Stone among the 500 best albums of all time.
