The title Giovinello means young man in Italian. This album, whose title carries the double meaning of young cellist, features Morrows signature Baroque repertoireincluding works by Haydn, Vivaldi, and Boccherinias well as pieces by Pratti and the world premiere recording of a concerto by Luigi Graziani. Performances that combine a youthful sensibility with a modern, dynamic feel, he said in an interview conducted in Japan in May 2015. He has already mastered the musical language of that era, and his ability to recreate it so masterfully is a feat made possible by his flexible sensibility.
