Re-recording of the piano concerto that concludes Chopin’s Polish period! A collection of works written by Chopin for piano and orchestra. The first volume included four pieces, “Don Giovanni Variations,” “Krakowiak,” “Grand Fantasy on Polish Songs,” and “Andante Spianato and Brilliant Polonaise,” while this second volume features two popular piano concertos. The solo piano player is Ekaterina Litvinzeva, who has been based in Germany since 2011 and recorded Chopin’s Piano Concertos Nos. 1 and 2 for the Profil label in 2015.
