From Granadoss extensive body of piano music, Sans has selected a collection of lesser-known miniatures, introducing pieces of diverse beauty that are like jewels. The album begins with the richly melodic Andantino Espressivo, followed by Tales of Youth (the title Recuerdos means memories and is taken from the seventh piece in this collection, Recuerdos de la infancia), which embodies Granadoss poetic world, the nostalgic Scenes from Childhood, Six Expressive Etudes in Simple Form (which even young children could play), and Sketches.
