Martin Matalon is an Argentine composer. After studying at the Boston Conservatory and the Juilliard School, he continued his studies at IRCAM in Paris. The recorded works are all large-scale compositions featuring two pianos, percussion groups, and electronics, and feature a dazzling variety of tonal variations that may be the result of his studies at IRCAM.
