This is the fifth and sixth installment of the complete song cycle project.The Donizetti songs are performed by Ermonella Yao, a soprano singer at the top of the opera world, with her outstanding expressive power.The prolific and versatile Italian composer Gaetano Donizetti, one of the central figures of Italian bel canto opera, composed more than 200 songs, most of which are rarely performed. Most of them were rarely performed, and several were completely unknown until recently. Under the supervision of musicologist Roger Parker, Opera Lara’s artistic director and conductor Carlo Rizzi will play the piano, and Opera Lara will release a series of eight recital albums of complete solo songs.
