In addition to new works by Academy Award-winning composers Rachel Portman and Ann Dudley, the album also features new arrangements and rediscoveries of works by historical composers such as Pauline Viardot, Siquinha Gonzaga, and Ethel Smythe.The centerpiece of the album is the world premiere recording of Aina Boyle’s Violin Concerto.
