Ezekiel Honigs 2008 release on his own label, Anticipate Recordings, has been reissued by Keplar. Built upon the techniques of musique concrte, ambient, and beat research, this work combines environmental sounds, instrumental fragments, and electronic processing. The soundscape unfolds, shifting seamlessly from soft ambient to downtempo and minimal house. A subtle 4/4 pulse runs throughout the album, gently connecting each element while guiding the listener with subtle shifts in timbre. Traces of distant voices and ambient sounds blend into the mix, creating a structured work that oscillates between intimacy and distance. Remastered by Kassian Troyer, the delicate sonic architecture is reproduced with greater clarity.
