From 1890 to 1926, he served as cantor at St. Johannes Church in Dresden, and during the same period, he also taught organ at the Dresden Conservatory.Organ Sonata No. 6 is believed to have been composed around 190506. It is in three movements, with the final movement being a magnificent fugue. Song of Farewell and Freedom is a large-scale work consisting of 10 pieces and lasting over 50 minutes.Dietrich von Knbel is a German organist born in 1959.
