This is the original version of Slap Happy’s 1974 work Casablanca Moon. Backed by Faust, it was recorded in Wnme, their commune, and produced by Uwe Nettelbeck.The Virgin label refused to release the album because of its extreme sound, and it is said that the Virgin version, “Casablanca Moon,” was re-recorded with studio musicians to “make it more pop,” and it remained in storage until 1982, when it was reissued by Recorded Records.
