The long-awaited new release from the current form of Japanese indie rock is now available! GeGeGe, an indie music project led by Mizuno Ryouto, is releasing its first new album in five years, “Let’s meet again.” Since the beginning of their activities in 2017, GeGeGe’s unique musicality, which intertwines US indie influenced sounds and vocals with Japanese lyrics, has attracted attention both in Japan and abroad. This full-length album contains 13 songs. The album features the chorus of Meari (xiexie), Ayu Megumi (BROTHER SUN SISTER MOON), Rumi Nagasawa (LIGHTERS), Yusuke Okada (BROTHER SUN SISTER MOON) on percussion, and members of the current indie scene. The production team consists of most of the members who are leading the current indie scene. Almost all of the recording and mixing was done at Mizuno Ryouto’s home, with the exception of the drums.
