• George Michael’s cult album “Older” was first released on Virgin Records on May 13, 1996 and brought the superstar unprecedented success in the charts. For three weeks the LP stayed at number one in the UK and spent a total of 35 weeks in the top ten. Six singles were released from Older, of which “Fastlove” and the eternal classic “Jesus To A Child” also reached the top. The other four singles climbed into the Top 3.
