The highly anticipated new project from the brilliant Kremer is a piano trio featuring two young musicians. Lithuanian cellist Gidule Dirvanauskaite is a member of the elite Kremerata Baltica and a virtuoso who has served as the ensembles soloist for many years. On piano is 23-year-old Katia Buniatishvili from Georgia, currently the most talked-about pianist in Europe and highly praised even by Argerich. Although this trio has been together for less than two years, they have garnered rave reviews on tours throughout Europe, including at the 2010 Salzburg Festival.
