This album, by Giorgi Kobelidze of Georgia and Ursula Winterauer (also known as Gischt) of Austria, is a work centered on the sounds of cities. The two artists edited together ambient sounds, noise, and peoples voicesrecorded in Austria and Francein the studio to create new music that captures the unique character of each city. Koberidzes *MurMur* fuses the pleasant resonance and warmth unique to acoustic instruments with electronic music, while Winterauers *When Dust Settles* uses sounds from construction sites and voices to express the changing face of the city. Both works allow listeners to experience the ever-changing nature of cities through sound. This work was produced as part of a European arts support project, organized by Openspace in Innsbruck.Naxos Japan
