Since forming in 1984, GirlTrouble has remained true to its unique brand of Northwest garage rock in their hometown of Tacoma, Washington. Over the past 15 years, theyve created dozens of new songs while pursuing a rawer, more authentic, and fresh sound. They decided to compile their recent recordings into a single album, weaving them together as a tapestry of rock. These sessions capture both sides of the bandthe meticulously crafted GirlTrouble in the studio and the unadorned GirlTrouble recorded in a single take in the same spacetwo facets theyve long wanted to capture.
