This release commemorates the 10th anniversary of the publication of Philip Glass’ 20 Piano Etudes. Giusto Di Lallo noted that many of the existing recordings of this music are played at different tempos, dynamics, and phrasing than intended by the composer. Lallo has selected 10 pieces and aims to perform them exactly as they are in the score. Giusto Di Lallo has been a soloist and accompanist since 1996. His repertoire ranges from classical to contemporary and experimental music, and in recent years he has performed a highly acclaimed concert series featuring Philip Glass’s “Etudes” in Italy and the UK.Naxos Japan
