The skillful fingerpicking on Baby Youre Out of My Mind is reminiscent of early Bob Dylan, and Locked Doors rides a laid-back R&B boogie rhythm, and the stripped-down riff on It Aint No Lie is reminiscent of The White Stripes, who were an up-and-coming duo at the time. Unlike their previous album, which was brimming with a DIY spirit, this one features pedal steel player B.J. Cole and keyboardist Louis Vause, who add depth to the diverse tracks. We were free to do whatever we wanted, Graham says. We were able to broaden our sound and bring a greater sense of calm to the songs.
