Born in Mnster, Ronberg was a child prodigy who learned the violin from his father and showcased his skills in concert at the age of just six. In 1790, he joined the Electoral Court Orchestra in Bonn, where he also met Beethoven. He was active not only as a violinist but also as a composer, writing violin concertos, operas, and vocal works.The Song of the Bell is one of Friedrich Schillers greatest masterpieces.
