Description:

Herbie Hancock’s first album with Warner Brothers, recorded in 1969, which showed his inclination toward funk and soul, is reissued on 180-gram weight vinyl. In a sense, this is a straightforward “Children of Bitches Brew” made by Hancock at a time when the children of “Bitches Brew” were creating the trends of the jazz world in the early 1970s. However, there are original “innovations” to be found throughout. This is a work packed with “the times”, albeit from a jazz point of view.
