A Collection of Lyrical Miniatures (SACD) by the Acclaimed Pianist Eiko HaradaThis year marks the 100th anniversary of the death of Edvard Grieg, Norways national composer. These lyrical miniatures were composed throughout Griegs lifetime, and this collection could be said to embody Griegs musical life itself.The performance is by Eiyo Harada. She studied at the Tokyo University of the Arts and its graduate school, then went on to study at the Stuttgart University of Music and Performing Arts and the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, before furthering her studies under Professor Viktor Merzhanov at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.
