A long-awaited vinyl reissue of a major work by Ester Karkkainen, known as Himukalt, who lives in Nevada. This elusive track was originally included exclusively on Helen Scarsdales cassette box set *On Corrosion*, recorded in 2019 and which sold out immediately. Centered on the theme of the end of a sexless romantic relationship, the album interweaves vocals that lay bare anger, a sense of loss, and confusion with a harsh industrial sound swirling with feedback and noise. It is widely regarded as one of the most highly acclaimed works in Himukalts discography. Since launching her career in 2016, Karkkainen has been actively releasing works through labels such as TescoOrganisation and OldEuropaCafe. With the reissue of this album, her innovation and expressive power are sure to be reevaluated.
