CD: The 2nd Akira Ifukube Music Festival (supervised by Kaoru Wada). A legendary recording finally reaches CD, with Godzilla, Mothra and the first-ever release of Kaoru Wada’s arrangement of Daredevil in the Castle (Osaka-jo Monogatari).This recording was made at the 2nd Akira Ifukube Music Festival (16 March 2008, Suginami Public Hall). To mark the reopening of the renovated hall, the Main Hall, Small Hall and Grand Salon were given over for a single day as the “Akira Ifukube Music Museum” – a huge event still spoken of among enthusiasts as the stuff of legend.
