Dinosaur Jr. has completed its first new album in five years. Their 12th album, *Sweep It Into Space*, co-produced by J. Mascis and Kurt Vile, is set for release.Dinosaur Jr. is releasing their 12th album, *Sweep It Into Space*, their first in five years, via Jagjaguwar. The album was produced by J. Mascis and Kurt Vile, and recording began in the fall of 2019 at Biscuiten Studio. The only outside musician to contribute to this album was Kurt Vile. I used to listen to Thin Lizzy a lot, so I tried to get that twin-lead sound, says J. Mascis. Of the 12 tracks on the album, Garden and You Wonder were written by Lou Barlow, and Murphs drumming is as solid as ever.
