Lori Scacco is a female artist who formerly served as the pianist and guitarist for Seeley, a shoegaze/dream pop band that released music on TooPure, and who currently performs as part of the duo Storms with Eva Puero Munz, a member of Savas & Savaras.This album, *Circles*, is Loris only solo work and was released in 2004 onEasternDevelopments, run by Scott Hellen. She composed and produced all the tracks and performed most of the instruments herself. Simple tones from acoustic guitar, piano, and electric piano float, colored by natural reverberation, while Tim Delaneys upright bassfeatured throughoutaccompanies them, creating a melancholic yet warm sound that gently envelops the listener.
