Musician Lynn Wright, who has been active in the underground sceneprimarily in New Yorkfor many years, has released her first solo album on Miasmah Recordings. Currently based in Berlin, she collaborates with composer Simon Goff on film scores and recording projects, and is also an active member of Insect Ark, led by Dana Schechter. This album was created based on guitar loops she produced every morning while recovering from a neurological condition. Through layers of guitar, synth, and wordless vocals, she constructs a serene and profound sonic world, delicately blending elements of dream pop, drone, melancholic folk, and minimal music to create a soundscape that is both grand and introspective.
