Formed in 1986, The Weltled by brothers Daniel and Danny Chavisreleased this masterpiece in 1994. Their innovative sound, which fused shoegaze, alternative rock, and R&B, had a profound influence on subsequent artists. The album was produced by Ray Schulman, who has worked with artists such as Bjrk and The Sundays. Pitchfork selected it for its 50 Greatest Shoegaze Albums list, and Until Youre Forever was also highly praised by Stereogum. (C)RS
