Born in 1992, Ismael Margen is a young pianist who studied under Jacques Rouvier and Roger Muraro. He won third prize and the Audience Prize at the Long-Thibaud International Music Competition held in December 2012 and has been active internationally as a promising young artist. On this album, he performs Schuberts Piano Sonata No. 21the composers final piano sonataand three Impromptus, also written in his final year.
